We aim to provide a safer space where individuals and families can come together to contemplate, meditate, create, imagine, and expand their sense of self, their joy and their connection to community.

About

The Unity Studio is the brainchild of Ciara Adams, a life-long musician, singer, performer and teacher.  In 2021, Ciara’s first born child was diagnosed with an aggressive and fatal form of brain cancer called DIPG, immediately her life changed dramatically. Within a year Ciara experienced the loss of her child, business, and the dismantling of her marriage. This experience shook her to her core, forcing her to reevaluate her life. After deep contemplation, she was inspired to create a space devoted to manifesting more
JOY, PEACE, CREATIVITY, HEALING & SELF AWARENESS.
The Unity Studio combines her work and life experiences as a performer, teacher, light worker, and a student of the evolution of consciousness. 

Ciara Adams

Owner / Creative Director / Voice Teacher

Ciara Adams is a trained opera singer and actor, who has been a professional performer, musician, creator, art's educator and voice teacher, with over 20 years. She is passionate about the power of creativity, frequency, resonance and energy healing to transform lives. The Unity Studio is a lifelong dream come to fruition, born out of a personal tragedy. This experience convinced Ciara that the world needs more opportunities for play, creativity and community at this time in our collective history. At the heart of Unity is a desire to heal, transform, spread joy and have fun with other like minded individuals as we evolve.

Renée Mercuri

Digital Coordinator / In-House Caterer

Renée Mercuri is the owner of Chez Renée, The Unity Studio’s in-house catering company.  Renée’s positivity and support has been essential in the earliest days of visioning for The Unity Studio, and her administrative expertise has been an important part of setting up all of our back end systems.  Renée’s joyful spirit lights up the room, and her food is out of this world! Renée is also an ordained multi-faith minister, and her services are available for sacred unions at The Unity Studio.

Carolyne Zuuring

Egg Guardian / Resident Visual Artis

Carolyne Zuuring is an Egg Guardian, with over a decade of experience in the health and wellness industry and is also a visual artist and musician. Since 2020 she has been a fervent student of sound and light healing modalities and eager advocate of the Harmonic Egg. She feels honoured to be a part of the Unity team and is committed to facilitating the best possible experience for clients. She's excited to be engaged in building this new community of healing and transformation. 

Surani Perera

Egg Guardian / DJ Selectress Sunshine / Reiki Practitioner

Surani is passionate about several things which intersect with being an Egg Guardian! She is a Reiki practitioner who is fascinated by how we can work with the energy all around us in our daily lives.  She is also a vinyl DJ by the name of Selectress Sunshine.  She loves spreading joy through music, especially with the warm sound of vinyl.   She enjoys playing with the healing energy of music, and dance, especially through wooden speakers that can play a broad range of frequencies.  She has even invented a portable sound system to bring her love of music to the streets of Toronto!  So she is delighted to join The Unity Studio team as an Egg Guardian, House DJ & Reiki Practitioner.

  • This was a great experience! Sandy was easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable. She explained why she got into Mind & Body Harmonic and what to expect. The chair in the pod is very comfortable and a nice blanket is provided. I found the music very relaxing and in about 15-minutes, I felt my stresses slipping away and feeling very relaxed..
